Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs and cats of all ages; 4 months to 12 years old. I previously worked in a vet clinic for 5 years before changing my career path. I pride myself in giving your pup or kitty my time and making them feel as comfortable as they can in my home or your home. If that means playing with them all throughout the day, cuddling on the couch, going on walks, or them just hanging out while I do things around the house. I want the animals that I watch to feel as if they are at home with their owners. It brings me joy seeing how comfortable and happy the pets I've watched become after just a few hours or a day in my care. I am able to pet sit in my home if your pup is okay with cats but am open to pet sitting in your home at times for pups or cats. I am open to pet sitting in your home if that works better but my preference is to bring them to my home. When staying at a clients house I like to get familiar with the yard and space so I know of any places your pet may hide away or rest. Some times our pets like to nap in places that we would not suspect and I want to make sure I can keep track of your pet at all times while in my care.

Lizzy was truly amazing! We were leaving to go out of town unexpectedly and I contacted Lizzy the day before leaving! I thought that this was a "hail mary" and that we would never be able to secure someone that was qualified and available. I was totally wrong! She was beyond responsive and even took the time to conduct a meet and greet the same day! She ensured that all of my questions were answered and spent the time to truly understand our puppy. We played outside during the meet and greet, were given a tour of her home, and chatted about Charlie's likes and dislikes. I left feeling that I could not have found a better doggie sitter or person to trust with our little man. She sent pictures and updates throughout our trip and gave our little man the attention that he needed! He came home extremely happy and well behaved, which was not the case when I previously used Rover. We will definitely use Lizzy for all of our future trips! :)
I finally found someone who takes care of Sophie the way I do. Sophie adores her and has made friends with her cats. Sophie will be staying with Lizzy again when the need arises. Thank you for being very good and loving to Sophie. That was a 5 star service!
Lizzy was punctual, reliable, and super sweet with our Lola. She provided updates and photos while we were away. Our dog felt very comfortable with her because she was so gentle and loving with our girl. Would 100% recommend her services to our friends and family.
Lizzy is wonderful with our pets! They always have a great time with her and we feel comfortable knowing she's taking good care of them while we're away

I have a fenced yard and plenty of space for the pups I watch to run and get energy out. We have a security screen door so that they can also get fresh air while inside but cannot get out. I have made sure that we have secured our fence. I do crate pups when I am not home just to make sure that they are safe and do not have an opportunity to get into any mischief; crating would only be used while I am not home or at night time if needed.

A typical day
I love to run and play chase or fetch with your pet. I also enjoy hiking so if your pup likes to go outdoors and explore we can have some fun on a trail. I have enjoyed Auburn and Folsom for hikes and take the easy trails for dogs. For those pups that enjoy being at home I spend lots of my time playing with them so they aren't bored. My two sons enjoy playing with the pups I watch as well. So any pup that boards at our house will have plenty of people to play with or get attention and love from.

Availability
I'm currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to play your your pup or kitty. I am also a student at Sac State so I do spend some time on campus for my classes. My classes are hybrid so I have the flexibility of being with your pet more often.
