Dog Mom & Dog Sitter!
Pet care experience
I spend much of my time enjoying my 2 adopted good boys at home or in nature. I am a social worker and work from home often (usually gone a few hours a day) so I can give all of the love to your love! I have never been without a dog in the household. I foster for a local dog rescue at times and love every minute of it. I prefer small floofs but my boyfriend prefers the big dogs so either will make us happy! We currently have a 12 yo senior Pomeranian Brownie and 7 yo Willie who is a mutt (mini Border Collie maybe?). Brownie is more reserved and just wants to be near Mom, Willie is friendly and likes playing but also loves naps! I also have experience with (and truly love to care for) elderly/medical dogs as my previous dog was adopted at 12 years old and lived to be 16. I can promise your dog will be cuddled and cared for as if they are at home with you!

Lizzy and her husband were great sitters.Lizzy kept me about Chloe the entire time I was away, she also sent pictures which warmed my heart. I was so nervous about leaving her. Liz is an extremely responsible dog owner and has fostered multiple dogs over the years. She would be a great candidate to be a dog caregiver; she has lots of space in her apartment and always makes her pets a priority. Rover would be lucky to have Liz as an employee!

We care for our pets like family. Can sleep on bed/couch. Can be crated or free roam depending on what is normal for their schedule. All pets in yard are monitored when outside. Your dog will be kept safe! We do have a few stairs to go inside/outside and stairs up to rooms.

Would love to know the dogs personality/energy level. I would also want to make sure the dog isn’t aggressive or territorial. I have 2 other dogs so I want to be sure they are a good fit!
A typical day
We have a ton of great forest preserves and parks in our area! But truly our favorite place is sitting on our deck over looking the backyard.

Pets are like children- They make our routine! My dogs require a lot of TLC- they like when we are home so we are with them often! They need frequent outside potty breaks.
