Pet care experience
I grew up with two German Shepards, four cats, chickens, a snake, and lots of turtles,frogs, and other reptiles(the benefit of having a mom as a science teacher!) My first job was at 12- me and my older brother started a pet walking & feeding & sitting business in my neighborhood! Since than I have regularly house sat &cat sat & dog sat (even lizard/snake/fish/and hamster sat) for a vast amount of people! I love animals— I am an active person & would love to help your pets get their energy out if they are high energy— or just be a companion for them if they are older or a little more sedentary! I am currently working part time so I have a flexible schedule & plenty of time to spend with your lovely pets! I can work around your schedule & would love to chat about what works for you! Obviously first we should discuss your pets needs/what it likes to do! If your pup likes walks or runs I am very comfortable& able to take them on some! I have pet sat for more than 9+ years & am more than comfortable providing references— I will respect your home& card for your pet!

Lizzy is very good with our two dogs. She loves to walk, play, and just be there for them when we are gone! I also enjoy seeing her frequent texts and photos of what the dogs have been doing. She does what is asked and goes beyond!! Your fur babies will be in good hands with Lizzy!

I always love to know if your dog has any quirky habits (like if they enjoy walks more if we take a very certain path, or even if they love it if a certain door in the house is kept open so they can sleep in their favorite sun spot)! I also think it is important for you to share any specific needs/behaviors your dog may have-- such as behaviors around food/other dogs/ new people/ect.! Basically anything you feel like I need to know to best care for your pup!
A typical day
Of course first I would love to chat with you first to see what your dog enjoys/is able to do physically-- however I do love to hike & go on runs! If your dog is high energy I could run/or walk with them around your neighborhood (or if you are comfortable even take them on a hike at the ridges or in strouds)! I enjoy spending time outside and for a more low energy/senior dog that doesn't enjoy spending as much time on their paws I would love to play with them in your back yard or a near by green space!
