Hello! My name is Lizzie. I am a South Carolina native living in Birmingham for a short time. I am a licensed veterinarian currently on the job hunt, so I have plenty of time to care for your furry friends! When I first heard about Rover it was a dream come true! I absolutely adore animals and it is my mission in life to provide the love and care they deserve. I grew up with dogs and cats being a part of my family and have years of personal experience caring for dogs. I also have veterinary experience working with dogs of all ages, backgrounds, sizes, and varying levels of care. I promise to do everything pawsible to keep each one of your Fur Babies comfortable and happy while they are under my care. I love going on runs and to the dog park with my pups!

I enjoy taking pets on Walkies! Right now with the hot weather I am very cautious about time of day, length of walks, and keeping them off the pavement to protect their paws.
Information Lizzie W. would like to know about your pet
I would like all dogs to be up to date on shots/vaccinations as well as Flea/Tick/Internal Parasite medications. (Especially if they will be staying in my home.) For younger dogs I would like to know whether they are potty-trained. I have no breed preferences. I love dogs of all shapes, colors, and sizes! If your dog is on medication, please provide supplemental instructions and if they prefer to take their meds with anything special. (For example, some dogs prefer pills wrapped in cheese and some prefer peanut butter.)
A typical day
My neighborhood is very pet-friendly! It’s safe for long walks during the cooler parts of the day and there is a nearby dog park within walking distance I enjoying visiting throughout the week. Given my flexible schedule, I am typically home most of the day and will be able to attend to all of your dog’s needs!

I’m currently working part time, but have plenty of time to add your furry friend to my weekly routine! Exercise is very important for all pets and creating a healthy routine is something I always enjoy implementing in pets’ routines.
