I’ve always grown up with animals! I was raised with cats and had a Labrador since I was born. The last 8 years, my family rescued an Australian Cattle Dog Boxer mix that I trained. I have experience house sitting multiple dogs at a time and for overnights. i’ve cared for puppies overnight and an elderly Shih Tzu. I’ve raised liters of rabbits and know the specialized care some animals need. My availability is mostly free during weekdays, but depends on the days. I am currently a student who loves being around all sorts of cuddly animals and furry friends! I live on my own currently with a lovable black cat name Finn. I wanted to start on Rover when a married couple asked me to watch their 8 month old Dudley Retriever. Unfortunately, I was unable to because of certain dates, but realized how much I’d love to be around friendly animals and to help out families who need to transition their loved one while they are away. I hope to be seeing you and your pal soon!

Honestly disappointed in the lack of professionalism and poor communication of this service. Lizzie accepted my booking but then hours before she was supposed to walk my dog, texted to tell me she wasn't able to make it herself, so she was sending a friend instead. Lizzie also asked about food, and I confirmed again (in addition to my initial request) that my dog needed to be fed and given water, but apparently Lizzie "didn't see" my reminder, so my dog never got fed or water after her walk. I was out working for 15 hours that day, so it was really inconvenient to learn a stranger I couldn't contact directly would be replacing Lizzie to care for my dog, and there was nothing I could do at the time since I was stuck working. To come home and find her bowls dry and empty was extremely frustrating. I did not receive pictures as requested, and it really felt like my dog was not a priority for Lizzie. I did not receive the service I paid for, and I won't be booking her again.
Lizzie is very kind and very quick to respond! This was Chewie’s first time being away from home for more than a day and my first time using rover, so initially I was very worried. However I went on my vacation worry free because I knew he was in good hands. Throughout my vacation Lizzie sent me pictures and updated me regarding Chew which was very reassuring. So if you’re looking for a sitter she is definely someone you could trust.
Lizzie was very sweet and thoughtful, wanting to meet my dog beforehand to make sure my dog wasn't surprised with a stranger, and then providing lots of photos and contact on the day of her visit.
She was great walking my two rambunctious dogs. Was super friendly and informative and provided me with comforting and detailed information about their walks.
