Pet care experience
Have you been looking for a way to satisfy your dog's energy levels? So was I and then I started running with him. I know how difficult it can be to deal with a high-energy dog, I am here to help your dog expend some energy in a fun and safe way. First and foremost I will explain that I am a nationally ranked rower, training for the world championships. I am very familiar with exercise. This means that yes, I really can run and will be running with your dog. I started dog walking when in high school and continued into my freshman year at Columbia University. I am now back in Miami, training. I need to get my cardio minutes in either way, so why not take your pup with me? ;-)

Liza was a little late but still took my dog for a full half hour walk. She was available last minute and was super flexible.
Liza was simply fantastic! I felt so comfortable leaving Sullivan for a weekend with Liza and her family. From the get-go, Liza was responsive, enthusiastic, and accommodating. I could tell from our first meeting that she was genuinely excited about taking care of dogs and a trustworthy individual. Sullivan returned to me happy and playful, which is confirmation that he had an awesome weekend. I would highly recommend Liza to anyone looking for an energetic and caring dog sitter.

I am constantly assessing the dog's well-being during the run. Any signs of unhappiness in the dog will be identified and addressed immediately. Once again, I am here to guarantee your dog has fun exercising. We aren't going for any world records (unless your dog says otherwise:-)
Information Liza R. would like to know about your pet
I can asses a dog's fitness level on our first meeting and work from there. Please discuss any of your dog's health concerns with me ahead of time. I need to know how your dog does around other dogs (are they leash reactive?). I want your dog to have fun. If your dog clearly doesn't enjoy their time with me, I will be very forward with you (the owner).
A typical day
As previously expressed, I will exercise with your dog. What we do really would depend on your dog's fitness level and goal. We can run continuous distances together, but can also work on interval training (1 minute on, 1 minute off or 1 min on, 2 mins off) in order to work up to running more continuously. All of this would be handled with proper hydration + toilet breaks, as well as taking the weather (heat) conditions in mind. If desired, I am willing to commute your dog to new and fun running places such as Virginia Key or Key Biscayne.

Availability
I train from 6 am to 10 am every day. When I get home I run/walk my own dogs. Consider using me supplementally; two or three times per week, as it is likely that your dog will be fatigued the day after a run. If you are looking for one walker for every day, we can discuss a training plan for your dog that would work most optimally. Let's see how I can fit your dog's schedule!
