Pet care experience
A profound passion for animals has been a driving force throughout my life. Growing up as an only child, I derived much comfort and companionship from caring for my coterie of furry friends. Whether volunteering at shelters, pet sitting for friends and family, or spending time with my own beloved pets, I have always found joy in caring for animals.

We reached out to Liz to take care of our old man cat for a short weekend the first time. She was lovely. Our cat doesn't love everyone, but he certainly loved Liz. We had been leaving our cat with friends, but as he has aged he has preferred to stay at our place rather than traveling. The first two people we tried were fine, but when we came home our little guy was kind of sad. But Liz put in some extra time and built trust, gave our cat love, hang out time, and play and when we came back he was in the best mood we've ever seen after returning from a trip. We knew we found our sitter! Since then, Liz has taken care of our cat multiple times in times ranging from 1 day to 2 weeks (and with this old cat, we need someone to come by 2x per day for medicine and food and love). Could not recommend Liz enough - I sometimes wonder if our old man wants us to go away more often so that he gets more Liz-time! Anyway, choose Liz.
My wife and I found Liz a few of years ago and she has been the greatest help to us! Not only has she walked our dog, Charles, but has also boarded him in her home! As soon as we met Liz, we knew she would be apart of our lives for a long time! 4 years later and she still treats Charles like the first time she met him! Charles used to be horrible on the leash, but Liz has worked with him with so much compassion and patience. Charles loves when Liz arrives to our home for walks and also loves his weekend stays at her home! We always get lots of updates, photos, etc!

Any special behaviors or needs would be important to know in advance. For in home care, I do have a 6 year old child so can only accommodate kid-friendly pets.
A typical day
We’ll certainly accommodate any special requests in terms of activities and playtime preferences. But I love taking long nature walks and hikes, visiting the dog park at the south mountain reservation, and no day is complete without lots of snuggles and treats.
