Pet care experience
I’ve spent my whole life loving animals, whether it’s the cats I grew up with, the class turtle I took home, or the farm animals I helped care for at my first high school job. In college I started watching other people’s pets and realized it was a wonderful chance for me to help other people with their animals and get some quality pet time in myself! I spent two years helping friends who worked for Rover with their walks until I realized I needed to start up myself. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats (and others!) of all ages, with many different medical conditions. Having my own special needs cat now has made me appreciate even more how important trustworthy & skilled pet care is - I hope I can be that for you!
Reviews
We love having Liz watch our two kittens. She is communicative with us and takes lots of photos. She is great with the cats and they have warmed up to her quickly and love her visits. She even caught a leak in our apartment while we were away. We highly recommend Liz and know our cats are in great hands with her.
Liz was great with our cats! We would love to have them watch our cats next time we need a sitter. We had great peace of mind in leaving our cats in Liz’s care.
Liz was great. Super available and communicative. She took great care of our two cats while we were away and we knew they were in great hands!
Liz is terrific. She is communicative and enthusiastic about our animals. It is good to have someone to trust to take care of our babies while we are away!

I always make sure in a new place that I know what makes a pet comfortable so I can make sure in a time of change with their owner gone they have as much stability as possible. I always want the pet to be the most comfortable since I’m in their home, but I also make sure to keep things as clean or better than I found them. My partner, who introduced me to Rover and is a Rover sitter herself, occasionally comes with me on visits.
Information Liz W. would like to know about your pet
I always like to know what some of their favorite things are - snacks, toys, activities, etc. Just as important is any relevant medical information, fears/aversions, and how they react to other dogs & animals in general.
A typical day
I love to explore the neighborhood dogs live in on their walks, finding all the best green spaces and dog parks to let them stretch! My absolute favorite (for dogs who don’t mind cars & have a lot of energy) is to take them hiking somewhere nearby like East Rock Park.
