Pet care experience
Those who know me well know I adore cats, as well as all animals. I have grown up with many animals around me, including six cats, hedgehogs, dogs, hamsters, frogs, turtles, fish, chinchillas, sugar gliders, and a rabbit. Currently, I have two cats, and a dog up in heaven who left us a few years ago. I was a full time PE teacher assistant for 8 years, and I also worked at the Catnip Cat Cafe in Norfolk for almost 3 years. I now work at home, every day minus one day a month, as a customer service agent for an insurance brokerage. If you are in need of someone to feed and check in on your animal (cats especially), please do not hesitate to contact me. I am a very positive, bubbly person who is happiest when spending time with all animals. You will not regret hiring me to watch your fur babies.
Reviews
Liz was great with my two cats! Took great care of them while I was away for work giving them plenty of love and attention. Thanks Liz!
Liz was so amazing caring for my cats!
Liz really takes great care of our little guy. We're beginning to think they've "got a thing going on.". No, seriously he really enjoys her visits, which in turn eases our mind when we're away. Thanks so much, Liz.
Wonderful woman. Would highly recommend booking.

When I cat sit, I typically feed my client’s kitties first, and while they eat, I’ll clean any litter boxes and refill water dishes. Then, I typically spend the rest of the time using whatever toys are around the house to play and interact with the kitties. I truly enjoy cats, and I used to work at the Catnip Cat Cafe.
Information Liz W. would like to know about your pet
As far as kitties, I think it’s helpful to know what toys they like, where their favorite place to eat is, and typical hiding spots for the shy babies because I like to see and interact with all the kitty friends before I leave. Knowing where the extra food is and/or treats is also nice!
A typical day
I have dog sat for pups, so I am willing to do that, but my main area of expertise is with kitties. I like to see what the kitty wants to do and follow suit, so if kitty wants to play, I’m there for that. If kitty wants to snuggle, the more snuggles the better! If kitty wants to hide, then I want to respect their space, but also make sure they’re still eating and getting to know my scent by being near them and trying to interact with toys.

I work from home, so I typically can cat sit Monday through Friday before 8:30 am or after 5:30 pm. If you live close by, I also have lunch at noon, so that’s always an option. Weekends I’m typically free, as I tend to be a home-body, but I’ll always get out of my house to feed and play with new kitty friends! I do have a recently diagnosed diabetic 6 year old cat, so typically, it’s easiest for me to cat sit after giving him insulin at 6:30 pm.
