Loving active & flexible pet sitter

Pet care experience

Do you want an active and engaged pet sitter? Do you prefer someone who will shower your fur baby with love and affection while you are away? Look no further! With a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time for dog walking, and drops in to care for and play with your pet. I have grown up with large dogs, and have also lived with smaller sized dogs and cats. Since age 13 I have been pet sitting and dog walking and love engaging with animals through play and exercise. I am looking forward to meeting you, and your pets!

Liz came through last minute. We met her and our two dogs enjoyed being around her. She arrived on time and communication was fantastic. We will use her a lot in the future.

Liz was a GREAT sitter! I had a bit of a tricky situation because I was staying in a hotel and my dog couldn't be left unattended, so I needed someone who was willing to stay with him for 9 hours straight. Liz said no problem! She arrived on time and took Herman for two great walks, sent updates throughout the evening, and was super flexible. We appreciate it so much, 10/10, highly recommend hiring Liz! I had no worries at all and it made for a great evening!

Liz has always had at least one if not three dogs in her life. She not only loves being with dogs, but is very responsible and concerned for their well being and excellent at caring for them. She is proactive and thoughtful and always puts their needs as a priority, as any dog caregiver should. Liz became a babysitter when she was a young teenager, and eventually became a nanny, so she has a great deal of experience in caring for other people's most valuable assets - their loved ones. She would be a wonderful dog caregiver to your pet(s) and you will be lucky to have her care for your loved ones as well!

A safe and happy relationship with your pet is my top priority. It is most important that I am aware of what makes your pet comfortable, as well as anything that would make them unhappy or uncomfortable. Knowing a pets history with any reactivity, or socialization is important to me, especially for dog walking clients.

Information Liz T. would like to know about your pet

What are your pets top needs/priorities? Is exercise/play the most important thing, or enrichment and training reinforcement? What kind of history does your dog have with leash walking, socialization, reactivity etc? I want to know all the little details that will set your pet and I up for success together.

A typical day

One of my favorite forms of movement is taking long walks, and having a dog to keep me company makes it even better. If you or your pet have a favorite park/trail, I love exploring new places. I have experience walking in the city, as well as more rural areas. If you are booking drop in visits, I will gladly spend time inside or outside with your pet. We can play wherever your pet is most comfortable. I love tug of war and hide and seek. I am also happy to work on basic training reinforcement that you are doing with your pet.
