Fun Friend For Your Pets!
Pet care experience
Hello, I am Liz! I grew up in a home with a black lab, later a German wire haired pointer, some cats, and some rodents! I have lived with roommates that have had cats and/or dogs over the last several years, have bonded with them, and cared for them when needed. I am attentive to detail and body language - if your pet looks uncomfortable or scared, I will do my best to accommodate them and make them feel at ease. I have an ability to befriend most pets, but understand some pets may have some trauma and need space (much like humans!). I am patient, understanding, and flexible, which is what animals often need. I am very enthusiastic and try to make every pet feel special, loved, and cared for.
Reviews
Liz was great! She was very friendly and attentive and careful with our two kitties and gave us great updates every day. She even went out of her way to accommodate us when we accidentally forgot to tell her some important information regarding the visits. Overall she was excellent!
I have been using Liz regularly and Liz always is available, timely, and considerate. My cat seems happy and content and it's been lovely to work with Liz every time I'm on a trip.
Liz is very friendly, communicative, and reliable. She cared for my dog for the day and gave him plenty of time outside and followed all his care instructions, while providing updates. Highly recommend!
Always the best sitter for my pups and kitty

My roommate has a dog that she mainly cares for, but if she needs any help, I let her out for potty breaks and fresh air, play with her, and give her fresh water and food if need. She and I have bonded very well over the years and she howls with joy whenever she sees me come home. As per clients homes, I care for them as the clients need me - I follow their walk and potty schedules, feed them the appropriate amount of food and follow their eating schedule, give them fresh water throughout the day, play with them, and give them pets and snuggles if they feel comfortable with me. If they have sleep or crate schedules, I also follow those procedures to make sure they have stability and rest while their owners are away.
Information Liz T. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any medical conditions, if they are a rescue, or have some past trauma that might make them scared or anxious in certain situations or surroundings. I can best accommodate them when I am aware of their dislike of other dogs, noises, or stimuli. It is also helpful to know if the dog does not like being pet or touched in a certain area. If there are ways to calm or make your pet feel at ease, please also let me know that!
A typical day
I like to take the dogs on long walks, where they can enjoy some nature, smells, and other friendly dogs if they are comfortable doing so. Depending on the neighborhood, we can go to the local park or dog park. I love to throw the ball, play tug rope, or chase one another around.

Availability
I am currently recovering from a back injury, so I am working house/pet sitting gigs for friends to make ends meet. I am currently unemployed, so my schedule for pet care and walks is very open.
