This was the first time that Liz house and pet sat for our dog and cat, and we were very happy with her service. Both our pets are getting older, and especially our dog has some issues with anxiety and our cat is very shy until he gets to know a person. Liz took great care of them and neither of them should any signs of stress upon our return. Liz sent us a a daily update with pictures which we appreciated. Liz also took good care of our house, which was very clean when we got home.

Liz was terrific for Ollie. I could tell he was very happy to be with her when I picked him up. I will definitely use her again. Great experience !

Liz was fabulous! Very attentive to our little Ruth and her needs. She kept us updated on how Ruth was doing while we were away through messages and photos.

Safety, trust & environment

I’ve owned Afghan hounds and Standard Poodles, which have always had run of my house. However, while I can keep a small to medium dog in my apartment, I always feel the dog is happier, and less stressed, when in its own home. I will keep your dog leashed on all outings for safety.

Home

Lives in an apartment
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture

Information Liz S. would like to know about your pet

If your dog has any special toys, dietary or medicine needs, please let me know. I’m experienced in giving oral meds if necessary. What he or she likes to do and not do is important.

A typical day

Dogs need to be engaged, and while I’m not up for two-hour hikes, I do like to walk on local bike path, trail, and through the neighborhood — yours or mine. If you’re good with it I can take your doggo to the Essex Dog Park for some socializing time, or just walking the mile trails around the park. Rest time is good, too.

I’m retired, so I can come to your house to care for it, and your dog, while you are away. I’ll treat your pup as my grand dog— sad to give him back when you come home, but (probably) spoiling him/her while you’re off having fun.
