Pet care experience
I have had cats and dogs my entire life and have now been pet sitting for over 4 years. I used to have 3 cats and a Bernese mountain dog, Talia, who I miss very much! I considered being a vet, so I have shadowed vets and attended programs about working with animals. Walking dogs is one of my favorite things to do, and I also love cats! I have been pet sitting in my town of Winchester, MA for the past few years and am looking to expand my business a bit more. I have stayed over at people's homes, kept dogs at my home, and done countless visits and walks. I have cared for puppies, cats, dogs, and even a bunny. I also have experience with dogs who need medication or don't get along well with other dogs. I make genuine connections with my clients and their pets, and am passionate about caring for animals!

We hired Liz for cat and house sitting for an entire week. She was excellent - wonderful with our cat and did a great job with the house part as well. Our cat, who is typically skeptical of anyone who isn't us, became very comfortable - sleeping next to her, etc. Liz sent us numerous pictures each morning and evening (per our request). She made sure to close windows when it rained, open them after - all the little things. And when we came home, we found the house to be immaculate - cat litter swept, dishes done, etc. She is kind, calm, and communicative. We will definitely hire her again!
Liz was such a great sitter and dog walker! She was great with my dog Oslo and always communicative, flexible and reliable! I used her for regular dog walking and will likely use her again in the future when I need help again, thanks Liz!

Information Liz R. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences, I love all dogs and cats! I'd like to know the amount of walks a dog usually gets, eating habits (if I should expect them to eat all their food or not, whether or not they will chew on shoes or anything, etc.), any allergies or medication. It's also helpful to know how often they are usually let outside, and if they are comfortable around other dogs and people.
A typical day
I love to walk, hike, and run, especially in the Middlesex Fells Reservation. As an active person I make sure even the most active dogs get the walks they need, but I'm also down to hang out and chill (which is what my dog Talia likes to do). I'm flexible to the needs of your dog or cat, and am willing to do whatever would make you most comfortable while you're away :)

I'm a student at Brandeis University, so my schedule will be more flexible during winter and summer break. I do some visits and walks during the school year, but mostly during school breaks!
