I started working with dogs in 2012 in Northern MN, with huskies on long winter expeditions. When I moved to Alaska, I trained and raced sled dogs at an Iditarod Kennel for 3 winters, then adopted 2 retired females who currently live with me. I have ample experience with high energy dogs, young/untrained dogs, setting clear boundaries, having lots of fun and implementing basic first aid for canines. I am adept at handling unique personalities, and love with two retired sled dogs who also have extensive experience living around many, many different kinds of dog personalities.
