Pet care experience
I started working with dogs in 2012 in Northern MN, with huskies on long winter expeditions. When I moved to Alaska, I trained and raced sled dogs at an Iditarod Kennel for 3 winters, then adopted 2 retired females who currently live with me. I have ample experience with high energy dogs, young/untrained dogs, setting clear boundaries, having lots of fun and implementing basic first aid for canines. I am adept at handling unique personalities, and love with two retired sled dogs who also have extensive experience living around many, many different kinds of dog personalities. I’d love to hear what your dog needs, whether a walk on the beach or overnight care, Juni and Sierra and I would be happy to accommodate. Feel free to reach out with any inquiries.
Reviews
Liz was a lifesaver! We booked an all day halibut fishing trip and Liz was able to stop by the hotel 3 times that day to walk Trix. Liz texted me throughout the whole process and even sent photos of Trix during their walks. It was so nice to not worry and just enjoy our day. Thanks Liz

Information Liz P. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know how well the dog gets along with other dogs, especially because I have two dogs. Also, does your dog do well off leash? If they are good off leash, how responsive are they to coming back when called? How do they react around wildlife? What causes your pet stress?
A typical day
We like going for walks on Mud Bay where there’s lots of room to run around. One of my huskies loves playing fetch, and we’ll use the Chuck-it sometimes in the front yard.
