Pet care experience
I have grown up caring for dogs my whole life! My husband and I rescued our girl Twyla in March of 2020. She's a well-trained and well-behaved Carolina dog & lab mix and guessing she's about s9 years old. She's more of a couch potato than an athlete, so excited to have company on my runs around the neighborhood or hiking in the area. She's friendly will all dogs (from the biggest great dane puppy to tiny pups getting up in years).

Liz & Owen were amazing with Sandy. They kept me updated with her trip through texts and pictures, and really made her feel welcome. I felt as ease that she was in such good hands.
Liz and Owen were great with Yumi and so was their dog Twyla :) Twyla is a very chill dog but likes to play some. Yumi was hoping to keep hanging out with them when I picked her up haha. I received daily recaps of Yumi with Liz/Owen and some cute pictures each time to boot. I would highly recommend rovering with Liz and Owen they are very nice, responsive, and so is their dog. Plus the private dog park in their building seemed to get some great use.
Liz and Owen took great care of our 4.5 yo Golden Retriever during the holidays!!! She got long walks, lots of play and attention! We appreciated all the daily updates and will definitely be contacting Liz and Owen again when we need to leave town. Thank you!

We live in a large single family home and are lucky to have a large fenced backyard for playing fetch or lounging in the grass. Plus we're in a great neighborhood for walking or exploring the area dog parks and outdoor spaces for dog that want to burn off some energy!

A typical day
I love meeting dogs where they are. Want to play at the dog park or hike 8 miles? Let's go! Prefer to sniff every tree in the arboretum and then snooze away the afternoon? Amazing. Want to practice basic commands and get mentally tired out? I love it!

Availability
My husband and I work from home most days and always make sure someone’s at home for walks or playtime, as well as naps and cuddles. High energy dog that wants to play or run? No problem! Let's go to the dog park for playtime or head to the arboretum for a hike. Lower energy dog who wants to take a lazy walk around the block before settling in for an afternoon nap in the sun? Sounds like the perfect Sunday! We have a fairly regular dog routine: morning bathroom break in the dog park attached to our building, often with some playtime with other dogs. A midday walk to check out the neighborhood and get some exercise. A longer walk or visit to a neighborhood dog park in the evening for exercise. Then bathroom break just before bed.
