Available 247 to walk or sit!

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Liz O’B. I look forward to getting to know and love your pet! I took some time away from Rover, as my grandmother recently passed away. I was her caregiver so I am anytime ANYTIME on weekdays and weekends— for walks, to stay overnight, to give your animal proper care, company and exercise. I keep my calendar up-to-date on Rover. I will care for your animal based on the instructions and requests you provide. Before overnight stays, it is extremely helpful to have a daily schedule per each animal (dog, cat, turtles, etc) printed or shared by email. I plug your little one’s schedule into my calendar, to keep everything on track and as normal as possible, while you (their loved 1) is away. Schedule includes meal times, walk times, play times, other notables (i.e. how long is too long of a walk? is your dog allowed to ride in my car to go on a hike or to the beach?) It is great to do a meet/greet visit before you leave, so that I know the lay of the land— and so that your little one gets the chance to get familiar with me before you leave. If you are interested in having me sit overnight and would like to speak to former clients, please ask!

Took great care of my dog! Kept me updated with pictures and texts all weekend!

After nearly 2 years of constant pandemic togetherness, we were a little nervous to leave our 11 year old labradoodle for a week. Liz came highly recommended from a neighbor with a special needs dog, and we couldn’t be happier to have found her. She took great care of our home and our pup, and sent sweet updates on all the fun they were having. It’s a huge relief to have someone as reliable and caring as Liz to take care of our baby in her senior years.

Liz is wonderful! She cares so much for our 2 little pups. She has gone the extra mile many times taking them to various parks, visiting friends, and giving extra treats so they feel loved. She’s communicative and trustworthy. Our pups absolutely love her!

Information Liz O. would like to know about your pet

I eagerly and happily accept any and all information you are able to share about your pet beforehand! Above, I’ve covered most of the questions that typically come up.

A typical day

I consciously picked up dog sitting and walking during the pandemic. I quickly learned how much energy dogs keep bottled, and how important it is for that energy to be released consistently. I have discovered many interesting trails, parks, and off-the-beaten-path routes throughout Boston and beyond to explore with your pup. For pets that aren’t dogs, I’ll do whatever I can to keep you equally comfortable and happy (games with cats, etc).
