Caring and kind lover of ALL pets

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Liz. I have lived with dogs and cats for most of my life, and have owned my own dog for 2 years. I have always connected deeply with dogs, from my mother's Yorkie to my Weimaraner I have had to part with, Ollie. I am kind and caring towards all animals but am also stern enough where animals will listen to my voice.

Liz has always been great with my pets. She is always kind and loving, and I would recommend her to anyone is seeking a little extra TLC for their pups.

Liz has watched my dog (Pepper, 8 year old Yorkie) for me countless times and she's the best! So loving and responsible, my dog just loves her. Pepper is quite demanding when it comes to attention but Liz is happy to give her endless love. I would certainly recommend Liz to anyone looking for a dog sitter!!!

She helps me watch my babies Kingsley and Henry. She is a wonderful person and terrific with my Weimaraner and Jack Russell Terrier. Highly recommended!

Safety, trust & environment

I currently cannot care for pets at my home - as my roommate has two dogs that are not immediately friendly to all dogs - but I am able to come to a client's home. I have a reliable vehicle and I am a trustworthy individual to walk pets or to care for them at the client's home. I respect others' property and will always leave a home as clean as I have found it, as well as your pet as cared for and happy as when I arrived! As mentioned, I live with two dogs that are not my own but that I treat like family. I watch them both when my roommate is not home and love to cuddle and play with them whenever I can.

Information Liz M. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know how friendly the dog is around other people and other animals. If I am walking the dog and another one is approaching, how important is it to avoid this dog? Or can we pass this dog without there being an issue? How often should I feed and fill the water bowl? Is the dog allowed treats? If I am at the home with the dog, how often can I let the dog outside if there is a yard? How often do you usually take time for playing? Dog parks? Walking?

A typical day

I love to go on walks with dogs I walk, and especially anywhere in nature. I could walk a dog any pace the client desires - being mindful of, what is the intention of this walk? Is it curiosity, a slower pace to be able to smell the surroundings? Or is it more purposeful for exercise and to not be so distracted? I love to bring dogs to dog parks if they are able to go, where I watch them carefully and never ignore them. I have not had many opportunities to, but would love to, be able to play fetch with a dog in a big yard (but one that is still closed off so they are not off leash in a public area). and my absolute favorite activities are cuddles, scratches, and relaxing at the home!
