Pet care experience
Hi fur baby parents, At my day job I am a working professional and by evening and weekends, I am a nurturing and avid animal lover, who enjoys being around all kitties and pooches. I grew up having pets and have carried that love into adulthood. Outside of having my own fur babies, I have fostered and taken care of friend’s and family’s pets as well. I lost my partner in life, Blew (the handsome grey fellow in my pictures), to cancer. During his fight I held his paw through weekly chemo appointments, numerous emergency room visits, taking his medications and feeling just crappy. Blew also had to battle heart worms and kennel cough but he was a champ through it all. ❤️ Although it was one of the toughest times in my life it has given me experience, skills and empathy from personal experience to care and nurture those that need a little extra time, love and TLC. I work Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 but I’m available for walks anytime after five and on weekends or 24/7 for in home stays. I take one client at a time so all my attention will be focused on your baby! I am college educated, own my own home and live in a nice, quiet community in Carrollwood with a park, a field for running and playing, and walking trails. It’s a fifteen minute ride to Tampa International so it’s a convenient drop off for those flying out of town. I have two older children that live at home, 18 and 16, who adore animals as much as I do. *Warning: your fur baby may receive 3 x’s the love and attention! Based on your comfortability, I will not just “sit” with your fur baby I will spend quality time with him or her. Long walks on the beach, going to the park, hiking, trip to Starbucks for a puppuccino or snuggling while netflixing on the couch. I prefer to be active and spend time outdoors but we can spend time lounging in the backyard if your dog prefers to stay home and chill. I will accommodate and abide by each individual dog’s schedule, rules and guidelines but I will also spoil him/her, if you allow it :). I believe pets are truly part of the family. All cats/dogs welcome! Big, little, old, young, furry and hairless!
Reviews
Liz is always friendly and responsive. Our dog actually recognizes her neighborhood now and gets excited when we're pulling in.
We are first time users of Rover and were a little nervous. However, that fear quickly dissipated once we met Liz. She was fantastic! She listened to all our concerns dog and reassured us that she would be taken well care of. Liz does a great job of communicating with updates and photos. We will be using Liz in the future!
I left my dog with Liz for about 10 days and she was great. She was super communicative, sent pictures and updates every other day, and incredibly flexible with drop off/pick up. I definitely recommend her for your pupper.
Amazing experience. The dogs were so happy from the moment we dropped them off to the moment we picked them up. You can tell Liz loves dogs as my border collie ran straight over to her and instantly bonded. Even our ridgeback who is usually slow to warm up to new people was comfortable right away. Liz sent pictures and checked in throughout the time they were there. Would definitely recommend her.

What type of personality does your dog have? Is he active and full of energy or more laid back and prefers just to people watch? Is he allowed treats and if so, under what circumstances? Does he/she have a routine or schedule? Does he/she interact well with other dogs, cats, people and small children? Any special needs? Anything else you think is important for me to know.
