Flexible dog, cat, & plant lover!

Pet care experience

Hi there! My name is Liz, and I'm best described as a dog, cat, and plant-lover (I include the plant bit in case you need help caring for your plants while you're away). In addition to growing up caring for 3 rabbits and a dog, I have sitting experience for multiple repeat clients, sisters, and other relatives. I've cared for their dogs, cats, and homes for up to a week at a time. I realized how much I enjoy spending time with their pets, so I decided to take my sitting experience to the next step on Rover. During my experiences, I have learned to administer oral medication, fed and watered, walked, cuddled, and cared for both pups and cats. During one of my stays, I dog-sat through a multi-day power outage. During this same visit, one of the dogs was experiencing separation anxiety from his owner, and I had to administer his anxiety medication while caring for a medical wound he incurred from anxious licking. He missed his owner, but he soon felt better!

Liz stayed with our 2 dogs and 2 cats for a few days when we were out of town. She was absolutely great with all of them! She was very attentive to their individual needs. Our 2 dogs are both seniors, and she took extra care to make sure she knew what was needed to care for them. She checked in with us daily to let us know how things were going with all four animals. When we arrived at home we knew they had been well cared for. They were of course happy to see us, but they were all very calm. Liz also looked after our outdoor plants to make sure they didn’t scorch in the summer heat ? We recommend Liz to anyone who is looking for someone to care for their pets! We will definitely be a repeat customer ?

Liz was so amazing with my pup, Waffles! She took great care of him and I’m so thankful to have a reliable sitter while I’m out of town.

Liz was an outstanding sitter! She took amazing care my pup and my house! Even my neighbors remarked at how much they enjoyed having Liz around and how perfect she was with my dog, Frankie! You should definitely have Liz as a top pick, if not your #1!

When I have boarded animals in my home, I always make sure to do a sweep before their arrival to remove and block off anything that could potentially be harmful. When I am staying over at a client’s house, I will follow the schedule that I am provided with so that their pets can stay on their normal schedules and in their normal habitat. I prefer to work in a client’s home, to ease any additional anxiety pets might feel whiles their owners are gone.

Information Liz L. would like to know about your pet

How old are they? What types of behaviors do they have? Do they suffer from separation anxiety? What steps do you take when leaving the house to ensure they’re safe? How long can they be left on their own at a time? What activities do they enjoy?

A typical day

I enjoy taking dogs for walks and spending lots of time outside in the yard. I love a game of tug a war and fetch, as well as some very basic trick training.
