Loving Care and Fun for Your Pets!
Pet care experience
My daughter, Kizzy (22), and I work in tandem to ensure that your pet is getting all of the attention that they deserve. We are non-smokers, trained and certified in CPR/First Aid/Safety for pets. Punctual, reliable, and of course animal lovers, we are hoping that your fur baby has the best experience possible! When it comes to our furry family members, one size does not fit all! If your pet is boisterous and active then lets play! If they are quiet, timid, or a bit of a loner, we love long, slower walks in the park too. We're willing to take the time to discover just what your pet likes and to make them feel secure so they can be themselves and really enjoy their time. This is especially applicable to cats, who are often shy or afraid, as we never try to push them past their comfort zone. Whoever said diamonds are a girls best friend obviously never had a pet! We have yet to meet a dog or cat that we haven't automatically become best friends with. Our experience includes having our own dogs that we have rescued from shelters, working as volunteers in several animal shelters, and looking after family, friends, and neighbors animals both in our own home and in their home. I am an Army brat and retired military spouse, and know firsthand about the difficulties of getting good care for your furry family members, so believe I will treat your pets as if they were my own! Nothing is more important than ensuring that your pet feels safe and secure when they are with us. We are available throughout the week and weekend for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house-sitting, and can usually accommodate last minute requests. Walks and drop-ins are usually for 30 minutes while house-sitting is for a full night, though adjustments can be made to tailor to your individual needs. Kizzy exclusively does the house sittings, and it guaranteed that she will stay over night for the entire sitting. Updates will be given at the end of each day with details of the day, any possible concerns, and photos of your animals. Both of us have experience with a multitude of breeds and size, senior dogs and cats, kittens from as young as 4 weeks old, puppies as young as 8 weeks old, and have experience giving oral medication! I am also a passionate photographer, so expect to receive a lot of photos (just check out the ones we have on here!). At the meet and greet, if applicable, please make us aware of any special requests you have and we will try our best to accommodate them. We want to personalize this experience as much as possible to make sure you are getting your money's worth and have peace of mind while away!
Reviews
Liz was so great with our dog & cat! She took the best pictures every visit and went above and beyond to accommodate our delayed return home. We will surely use Liz again in the future!
Cannot imagine traveling without relying on my Rover sitters! Outstanding services for my not-so-friendly and slightly challenging cat. Would not use anyone else.
Best cat care ever! Go above and beyond, even when you have a highly unsociable and mildly unfriendly cat. Recommend highly and we never use any other cat sitter.
Amazing experience as all other reviewers have stated. This was my first time leaving my 3 kitties alone for more than a few hours and I was stressed about it. The first day i got an update and pictures of my babies and realized immediately they were in good hands. I was able to enjoy my time away without worrying about them at all. We may be going away again next month and will not hesitate to book Liz and Kizzy again, just hoping they are available as awesome as all these reviews are!

Information Liz & Kizzy & Lewis B. would like to know about your pet
Your pet's personal preferences are important. Do they like other animals? How do they react to strangers or children? What always gets their attention (for my dog it's food every time!!)? A meet and greet is suggested for new guests when possible, and it is important that we are made aware of any health issues, current medications, allergies and sensitivities, behavior triggers, and reactivity to other animals and people to ensure that your pet feels safe and secure during their stay. Most importantly, please be honest and upfront about your pet's personality and behavior to ensure that this is both a good fit for us and for your pet. Our main priority is to try and reduce as much stress and anxiety that they may feel when you are away.
A typical day
My favorite place to go is Agua Caliente Park, a real desert oasis with it's fresh green grass, huge pond, plenty of shade trees, and both paved and manicured trails through the desert. Dogs do have to stay on a leash, but there is plenty of space for romping around, playing and investigating, and exercising. At least twice daily walks around the neighborhood are often used for power-walking to let off excess energy, training, and just general sniffing and exercise.
