My experience caring for animals started in childhood where I worked with my family operating a dog rescue organization. This got me comfortable and familiar with dogs coming from all backgrounds and with special needs. Karl and I spent several years managing a small horse ranch where we were in the care of horses, dogs, and cats that we loved and cared for daily as if they were our own. We formed great relationships with the owners of these animals and were recognized for the care and attention given to them. Now Karl and I own a home on half an acre (fenced in) and have a young Lassie dog who loves other dogs. She is happiest when she has dog visitors to hang out with in her big backyard. She is very gentle and gets along with everyone. We also have an 8 year old Shih Tzu that we rescued. He has a whole level of our house to himself because he prefers the life of an "only child". I work from home which enables me to provide playtime and care regularly throughout the day. I am outside in the backyard for playtime or fresh air almost hourly. We are able to provide a fun yet calm place for dogs so they aren't overwhelmed by the change of scenery. If you are looking for a safe and loving place for your dog to stay and be treated like family, please consider us as your dog sitter!
