Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Liz and I recently moved to Portland! I am looking to connect with this community through local families and their pets. I have been house sitting for dogs and cats (and some bunnies!) for the last 15 years, and have been a professional dog walker for the past 5. Additionally, I have experience in dog training and familiarity various dog breeds-from chihuahua to St. Bernard! I started caring for animals as favors to friends who called on me because of my extensive personal experience with animals (growing up there were never fewer than three dogs and two cats in my home at a time) but have continued to do so over the years because of the joy that connecting with animals has continued to bring me! I have experience with reactive dogs as well as both cats and dogs with diabetes and seizure disorders/epilepsy.

Liz was able to manage our dog’s many medications and complex feeding schedule. Benji was relaxed when we returned. We loved the photos Liz sent while we were away and the updates.
Liz is a great, reliable sitter! She takes wonderful care of my cat, Molly, and keeps me really well updated. Whenever I come home the litter box is in great shape as is her food / water. Totally recommend her!
Liz has been walking my dog Sierra every week. Sierra is highly reactive to other dogs and Liz handles her like a champ! Liz also takes the time to play with Sierra and give me detailed updates. I highly recommend her as a dog walker and am sad she is moving away from Boston
Liz was awesome! Helped us out on short notice and took great care of our maltese and home!

I have a lab arsenal of training games and mental stimulation to engage pups as well as an abundant appreciation for a good walk!
