Hello and welcome! My name is Liz and I adore all animals. I was fortunate to grow up in a home where animals were respected and treated as family members. We always had dogs and cats to care for and love. Who doesn't enjoy a great game of fetch or capture the feather?! If you are in need of someone to care for your pup please look no further. I am a caring, compassionate, fun, and active care giver to your four legged friend. Having 2 cousins who are Veterinarians I have also learned a trick or five about proper care and keeping a keen eye. All dog sizes and ages welcome. Please no aggressive/muzzled dogs. Liz is a fun loving individual who cares deeply for those around her. I have seen her care for friends pets as if they were her own. If I had pets of my own I would not hesitate to have Liz take care of them, I know that they would be in the best of care.
I'm a dog mom to two lovely old pups and Liz, as my roommate and friend, has been incredibly kind to her barking niece and nephew. Her favorite moment of each day is when she wakes up and my pup Nick is snuggling with her under the covers! Liz is incredibly responsible with making sure they're always walked, fed and most of all loved. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs since, well, before I can remember! Growing up we almost always had dogs in he house and we spent a lot of time with other dog loving friends as well. I've had 4 dogs, one cat, and many smaller lovable critters since the age of 6. Two of my cousins are Veterinarians, so I've tried to soak up some of their knowledge in regards to our furry friends as well =-)
Information Liz J. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your dog has any of the following: allergies, medical conditions, needs to take medication, has any sensitive spots on their body, likes to play or is more of shy one, if they need extra cuddle time since their human is on vacation, are they a biter/chewer, what are their favorite toys! The more details you give, the better I can care for them.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog This is dependent upon the needs of you and your pet. Some animals are shy and take oodles of time to warm up to someone, some need a lot of attention. Please let me know what you/ your pet requires and I am happy to work with you from there :-) Extra house-sitting services Yes, things around the house are fine. I will always clean up after the dogs, but no house cleaning outside of their care. No dry cleaning runs, etc. Thank you!
