Pet care experience
I have grown up around both cats and dogs, especially larger breeds. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, and have experience in providing medication, ensuring dogs safety and some grooming such as bath and nail trims. Currently, I work in an animal hospital as a Kennel Tech, I have a set schedule of T-F. They are 10 hour shifts.
Reviews
Liz was awesome! Top-notch care with brief summaries and photos of each visit. Tremendous thanks for the last-minute booking on a holiday weekend, and for my extra request to roll the garbage out. Highly recommend and I’ll be a repeat customer!
Liz was great with our two dogs and always communicates with me well.
Liz was very professional and Scooby loved her as well as my cats. If you are looking for a loving and caring person to watch your animals she is your gal. Will look to her for any future requests.
Liz did a great job and we were very happy with her performance. Would recommend 100%

I treat all dogs as my own. I believe every animal deserves the love and attention in order to thrive. I have a pitbull myself, and everyone has heard the phrase “pits are so aggressive” but it really depends on how the dog was raised. The same concept goes with this, I feel like if you provide the animal the support it deserves then there is an unbrokable bond formed. Since I work in a dog daycare, I am responsible for other dogs as well. I am used to being around 30 dogs at a time. I treat these babies just like I would own mine to be treated. For discipline at work, we result to a quick spray on the nose or a few minutes in the timeout box. We NEVER discipline the dogs any other way.
Information Liz G. would like to know about your pet
I need to know if the dog(s) are good with large dogs. I own a dog myself, he is very friendly but I want to make sure that everyone is comfortable. I do need to know how often your pup needs to be taken out and if they are leash aggressive, so I know if I can take my dog on the same walks as them. I would like to know how you handle your dog when you leave for the day, such as if you put them in a crate or if they are able to be left out and about. If I host two dogs, I need to know if these dogs need to be fed separately, if they need medication in their food. Are your dogs okay with men? My partner and I have the apartment together, and want to make sure that he doesn’t have a chance of being hurt.
A typical day
I own a high energy dog myself, so we take walks on the UofSC campus pretty often. I live 10 minutes from the dog parks downtown, and we love making new friends. I have a lot of free time on my hands.

I currently work with dogs of all sorts of energy levels. It is my responsibility to ensure the dogs are safe and have fun. I work with dogs every single day, and understand that there are many different personality types within these pups. I also have a 2 year old pit bull, who I claim as my son. He is a very well behaved, trained boy, who loves meeting new dogs of all sorts of breeds, sizes and even cats. He is a curious and high energy dog, so that means we go on walks pretty often.
