Each dog I care for has their own unique experience when I watch them. Whether it be taking them to work with me, going for an early morning stroll at the beach, or visiting a local dog friendly establishment. Seattle is such a dog friendly environment so why not take advantage of that? I think it's important for dogs to get as much exercise as possible throughout the day, and lead a healthy active lifestyle. I usually walk dogs that I sit for at least every 2-3 hours to get them as much fresh air as possible. I love spending quality time with dogs I watch and making sure they are comfortable in their environment. Their happiness is first and foremost under my watch! I have grown up with dogs my entire life and love all dogs. Given that I work full time, I think it's best for me to be a dog walker and care for people's pets overnight vs. having a dog of my own. My condo allows for small dogs that are house trained, and of course there is always the option to go to clients home to take care of their dogs so they can be in the comfort of their own home and feel at ease in their surroundings.
