Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs, rabbits, and turtles throughout my life—loving animals and connecting with them on their level. If they are adventurous, we can walk in Castlewood park. If they want to cuddle, we can sit and snuggle. If they like to play, we can fetch the ball or run around in the backyard. We love walks and are happy to take as many walks as the dog likes!

My yard is fenced and was home to a very happy 14 year old lab/sharpei pound puppy, who sadly passed away from old age recently. She loved the grassy and spacious yard, the very dog friendly neighborhood, and nearby parks. We can get out the sprinkler and pool if the dog likes playing in water on hot days. We can take short or long walks, cuddle constantly, give necessary baths, and more!

I would love to know their comfort level with kids ( as I have them), what they love to do, and how they like to spend quality time with their people. I also love meeting up with other friendly dogs and their owners, so I’d love to know if they like dog parks or doggy dates. I love treating the dog with a locally made doggy treats but only if their diet allows.
A typical day
I love walking as much as dogs do—just being outside in nature makes me a happier person (as does being around or even just seeing a dog). We are outside a lot walking, watering garden (playing in water), and going to parks. If we can’t go outdoors, we have a lot of dog toys to play with or can cuddle on the couch. My house is five minutes away from Castlewood park with great trails and streams for healthy adventurous dogs. For the older dog—I can cuddle and scratch and talk with. I love a good doggy head-nuzzle. I know each dog is different and can meet your dog where they are at—comfort level with me, walking, playing, and simply being. We also can go on car rides if they like.

Availability
Our Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday are completely open and our evenings every day of the week are open. We are happy to have a pup stay with us or I can come to the pup. I have a van that can safely cart a pup to and from parks, grooming, or other dog- friendly adventures. While there are times during the day when I may be at work (Monday, Thursday, Friday) or chilling with my kiddos(who love dogs), my husband works from home and loves dogs too.
