Professional, Reliable,

Pet care experience

Dogs make life better. I've loved and lived around dogs my entire life. In addition to rescuing and raising two puppies into happy, healthy, well-behaved companions (including my current whip-smart 3-year-old German Shepherd mix, Jozy), I've been an active dog shelter volunteer, dog walker and dog sitter and have experience and training in handling a wide range of breeds, temperament and activity levels. I've taken several hours of formal obedience training and love getting to know every pup's unique personality. No one knows or loves your dog more than you do. I work directly with you to develop a plan of care that best fits your dog's individual needs -- whether they love to run on the beach, play fetch, learn new tricks or just enjoy a mellow walk or a belly rub. Striking the right balance of exercise, adventure, affection and routine is key to helping your four-legged family members live their best life. I would love to help!

We were so grateful to discover Rover and find Liz, who was just a few miles from the wedding venue that we drove up to attend. Our dog Missy was so happy to go on this road trip with us! Liz was great and Missy had a blast playing with her fun dog and also another playful dog visiting.I highly recommend Liz!

After reading Liz’s profile I had a feeling she would be the perfect person to watch my 1yr old husky/malamute for a few days. She was accommodating, clear with communication, kept me updated and made sure my pup had a great time. Oh and her pup Jozy is the sweetest. My boy, Link, has a new friend 😊 I highly recommend Liz and will no doubt have her watch Link in the future.

I was extremely with Liz B's care of my dog during a recent long overnight, as was the dog himself. Liz is clearly a dog person, very attuned to their individual personalities and quite caring and thorough. She took care of several special needs the dog had ue t a recent surgery. She also clearly communicated with me about everything to do with the visit. . Could not ask for more from a dog sitter.

Information Liz B. would like to know about your pet

We love ALL dogs. That said, if your dog is aggressive with or fearful of other dogs, we, unfortunately, are not the right fit for you. Our dog Jozy is part of the family and will be at our home during your dog's stay. We will consider exceptions for in-home visits or walks originating from your home. Jozy does not accompany us for those services, unless you request it (some do, as they like the socialization and know that nothing can tire their dog out like a good play date with another pup). We also prefer to have your dog meet Jozy before beginning

A typical day

My home (which I share with my husband) has a large fenced backyard that is perfect for outdoor play and activity. With your permission (and if your dog is up for it) I would love to take them on one of our regular field trips to the nearby dog-friendly beaches and hiking trails where your dog can really let their tail wag. Our dog Jozy is sweet, well-balanced and excellent with other dogs (she is around multiple dogs of varying ages, sizes and energy levels almost daily), and makes a great playmate. In addition to multiple walks per day, she and our canine visitors enjoy free range of the house throughout the day, as well as multiple supervised hours of playtime in our yard. At night, Jozy prefers to sleep in her (open) crate in our bedroom. All of this said, we will happily make accommodations to help your dog feel more at home or help you continue their normal routine.
