I adore dogs and will treat yours like my own!

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs, mainly collies, on a farm in Ireland, so dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I previously owned a very energetic and playful Springer Spaniel since he was eight weeks old, as well a wonderful Whippet, adopted when she was around two years old, and it was so rewarding to see her develop into the amazing dog she was. Both dogs have now sadly passed and I do hope to get another dog at some point in the not too distance future. Dogs really make a house a home and their unwavering loyalty and unconditional love is quite special, not to mention the individual little quirks that make them so unique and a joy to be around. Whilst I don't have any pets in my home at present, I am happy to look after other dogs and will always treat them the same care and attention that I would give my own. In addition, I am about to complete a Level 3 Diploma in dog grooming which I am really enjoying. I am also trained in Canine First Aid.

Liz has looked after our two dogs before and when we arrived yesterday, they flew to Liz for a welcome cuddle. Liz sent pictures to us during their stay and they were having a real fun time. After we got them home, they ate their supper and only had the energy to jump on the sofa and fall asleep. A good day for two doodles.

Willow had a wonderful time with Liz . She made sure Willow was happy and settled . The photos sent showed me that Willow was completely relaxed in her home and had some beautiful walks . I would absolutely recommend Liz . Thank you so much and I could tell she had had a good brush , which was very appreciated x

A typical day

I love walking dogs and there are plenty of green spaces, parks and woodland in my local area, so I will be exercising your pet as often as he or she needs. I understand the importance of keeping dogs physically and mentally active and will keep your pet entertained and happy whilst in my care.

I currently work and study from home so have plenty of time to walk your dog, give them lots of play time and ensure they feel very much at home. My partner Peter and I have his 8 year old and 14 year old daughters stay with us 2 to 3 nights a week. They all love dogs so your pet will definitely get lots of affection and attention.
