We boarded our dog Bentley for a week with Lissette who is a consummate professional. We couldn't be happier and are extremely satisfied with the care Bentley received. When you leave what your pet likes and enjoys doing in the profile section, she makes sure that she accommodates that request. We mentioned that Bentley likes to sit on top of a couch with a blanket and sure enough we received pictures of Bentley doing just ...
Little Bandit felt right at home at Lissette's! I received adorable photo updates of him throughout the day, and could tell he felt right at home in her house. He was a happy little guy when I picked him, and playful when we got home (that mean's he had a really good day). I would absolutely feel comfortable sending him Bandit to Lissette's again, and definitely recommend her!
My dog had a very good stay in Lissette's house. I was impressed that she had a little room set up for dogs on boarding. She was very kind and took really good care of my dog. She let my dog hangout freely with her kids and was gentle to introduce him to other dogs she had. I got pics of my dog throughout the night so I was able to enjoy my time without ...

Every dog has his day in our home! :)
Welcome! We're a young family with three little kids and an adorable 13 year old Cairn Terrier named Lucy who we adopted in Alexandria, VA. Our children are 6, 4, and 1yo, and we call Lucy the "Big Sister" of the family. She is extremely friendly and curious of all new fur friends. Getting a little older now, Lucy definitely has a great history of being social ...
What Lissette would like to know about your dog
We specialize in caring for small and medium sized dogs. Unfortunately, we go by a case-by-case basis when considering requests to watch energetic dogs that are larger than 30-35lbs. We find that their size and high energy tends to topple our little ones. If you have a larger dog (30lbs+), we would be happy to consider watching them for you if they have a mellow demeanor and/or are older dogs that can blend in well with our young kids.
When you drop off your fur baby for his/her visit, it would be super helpful to know a breakdown of your schedule, any requirements/rules, and any medications that would need to be administered. We want to keep your dog on as close a schedule as to what he/she is used to at home.
Regarding rules: We follow your rules, while your fur baby is here. So if you have a special diet, or prefer the dog to be crated at night (done only if requested), or don't want Fido up on the bed, then we make sure to follow your rules and not create any new habits while you're away :)
