I have been a pet owner for many years and have assisted in the care of previous roommates' animals. My experience ranges from very small (3-4 lbs) to much larger (75+ lbs) dogs as well as cats. I've even managed to train a few of my roommates' stubborn pets certain commands over the years. I presently own a small, previously feral cat that my partner and I domesticated over the last 2 years. I am very active and love to take dogs on walks (or jogs if your dog likes to go fast).

Lisa is my go-to cat sitter when I’m out of town which is pretty frequent. She is always very responsive and makes things so easy even for last minute requests. My cat Sky is always happy and content when I get back from my trip. Do not hesitate to send her a message!

I live in an apartment and have a cat that does not like other animals, so unfortunately I will not be able to provide pet services in my own home. I am happy to come to yours and check in on your pets and/or walk them as needed!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or if there are things you do/ do not allow them to do or have (i.e. allowed on furniture, friendly and can interact with other dogs on walks, etc.). If oral medication for your dog is needed, please demonstrate how you typically give it prior to the planned days of service.
A typical day
I love getting out and going for walks with dogs. Have a high-energy dog that likes to run? I'm happy to run with them to get their energy out. If they have a favorite toy or love to play fetch, just let me know!

Availability
I am an emergency medicine physician assistant but try to make myself available for pet care when I'm off work. This varies week to week, but I check and update my calendar frequently. Make sure to check my calendar for days I have blocked off, and please do not try to schedule services more than a month in advance (as my schedule is likely not finalized at that point - my schedules are set one month at a time and usually come out around the 15th). This will save both you and me time!
