Pet care experience
Earning the trust of your cats and dogs is the most rewarding part of this job! I love to get those tail wags and welcoming wet-nosed nudges. Most of my days are wide open for drop-in care or walks. I am an Army veteran and former military public affairs professional turned stay-at-home mom and perpetual student. Now I am just doing online college courses so I have plenty of time during the day to play with your furry friends! My clearest availability is usually between 9:30am-3pm, but I still have a bit of availability outside of those hours too. Just ask! I love it when cats and dogs live together, it is so amusing to watch them play! I have no problems administering medications.

I am more than happy to simply cuddle with your cat or dog inside. I also love to take them outside to play ball, walk, or go on an adventure to a nature park. Dog kisses and cat paws are all okay here. Whether they need a brisk jog or just want to dawdle and sniff some bushes, I’m here for it! Also let me know if your dog likes company, as I can bring my golden retriever along for a bit more socialization. I will only bring her along at your request.

Please let me know of any sensitivities or habits your pet may have. Are kids great or scary? Neighbors fun or freaky? Do they prefer me to be calm and quiet or enthusiastic? Also please let me know where the leash is and where any cleaning supplies are in the event of a puppy accident.
A typical day
Whether your furry friend wants cuddles and back scratches or an outdoor adventure, I’m here for it. Chasing squirrels? Sure. Listening to me read the cat’s diary aloud? Sure, why not. While it is essential that your furry friend is amicable toward children, there are typically no kids at my home M-F, 9am-3pm.

Availability
I am generally available between 9am and 3pm, Monday through Friday. Weekend availability on a case-by/case basis. I do still have some availability after before 9am or after 3pm; I would just need at least 24 hours notice for those :)
