Hello Furbaby Parents! I’m a loving dog mom located in the Champion area to a spoiled 6 year old small breed rescue Cali’ Rae. I’m easy going and open to what works best for your baby. Growing up my family always had a fur baby or some critter in the house. The family dogs over the years varied in size; Chihuahua, Daschund, Schnauzer, Cocker Spaniel, Springer Spaniel, Lhasa Apso, Shelties and Labradors. Based on the breeds I grew up with I’m most comfortable with small to medium size dogs that are non aggressive, loving, playful and easy to handle. My husband and I moved to Champion 11 years ago and have raised and cared for alpacas the last 10 years. We currently have two on the property - Frappuccino and Gemini Rose. I prefer all dogs be crate trained and you provide their crate. They will have free roam of the house when with me but will stay in their crate if I have to leave the house for any reason. Must be housebroken unless a puppy in training. * I will board an additional dog for the same client family. * Optional - We can make arrangements to have a day trial prior to boarding. This may be a good option for first timers especially if considering an extended stay. Day care is $25. CATS: Unfortunately, I am unable to board cats due to allergies but I love them. I’d be willing to drop in and care for them in their home. SENIOR & SPECIAL NEEDS: My experience caring for senior and special need dogs is limited but I’m capable and willing.
