Reliable, Thorough, and Caring

Pet care experience

I’ve worked with dogs since I was a child from Dalmatian, Chihuahua, Rottweiler, Shepard, Collie. I am a true dog lover and it shows in my thorough attentiveness towards dogs. As a child, I spent time researching different breeds to learn behaviors, health issues, and enrichment needs. Today, I volunteer at the animal shelter and walk dogs as well as assist with cats. I volunteer at another location specifically to help with feline socialization. It feels rewarding to me, and I treat these animals as if they were my own. I am also a dog owner to a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Hazel, so I understand what’s required to maintaining a safe and enriching environment. Know your dog will be loved and cared for.

Lisa took care of my two dogs and cat for an extended trip out of state. I would not be able to enjoy my trip if not for her, and I really appreciated the regular pictures and updates. Thanks Lisa! You’re the best!

Lisa was absolutely wonderful with Mozzy! He is generally a shy boy but warmed up to Lisa and even showed his belly for her to rub. She followed care instructions to a T and sent me pictures/videos of him everyday. I was able to relax on my work trip knowing Mozzy was cared for and that is priceless to me!

Safety, trust & environment

I do not provide boarding services at this time, but I do provide house sitting services in your home. Your pet would be fed and taken out to potty depending on their schedule and needs. I would typically use the same methodology and routine as my pet, but if there is specific accommodations that need to be made, I am open to discussing them with you before finalizing services. I do require meet and greets with your pet before booking. This ensures the safety of the pet and sitter. It allows your pet to get acclimated to a new person if they aren’t used to strangers. Meet and greets are not charged to the clients and are highly encouraged. Do you need a drop in? Does your pet do well on their own but needs a check in during the day? Drop-ins are perfect check-ins for pets that do fine on their own, but may need a break to relieve themselves and get outside. A quick potty break to make sure they get out of the house and have some fresh air. Sometimes pets have separation anxiety, especially when newly introduced to being alone. Drop-ins provide that extra comfort that they are ok and secure in this new set up. Check ins also help your pet readjust, find comfort, and pass the time quicker while their owners are away. Meet and greets are also required for this service.

Information Lisa T. would like to know about your pet

If your dog has special needs (i.e needs more potty breaks, difficulties socializing with other dogs, dietary restrictions), please message me beforehand. I will try to accommodate your dog as best as possible.

A typical day

I love to take my dogs for long walks. We have multiple dog parks in the area that we can visit depending on the clients preference. I bring a number of toys and treats with me, and at the park we can play catch or work on agility. We can practice enrichment activities (exploring a new area, going to a dog meet etc). I am familiar with hiking or beach trails we can go on.
