Hello! I have cared for a variety of pets, exotics, and hobby farm animals my entire life, from snakes to pigs and everything in between...I have experience with medications for dogs and cats including insulin, wound care, and basic oral medication administration. I was the poultry and small animal superintendent at my local county fair in Michigan for over 10 years where I was responsible for hundreds of chickens, turkeys, geese, pigeons, rabbits, and guinea pigs for a week. This included pullorum testing of birds. I was also a school-based 4H leader in my local district where we had chickens on-site. My daughter is currently attending the Michigan State University Veterinary Medicine Program, having been exposed to and cared for animals herself!
