Dogs knew I was a dog lover even before I did - they've always been drawn to me. I have experience with both rescues and pure bred dogs and am drawn to the elderly and special needs babies among them. I am experienced with administering medications and taking extra time for "quirks". I rescue discarded Shih Tzu puppy mill Mama's that have both physical and emotional traumas. I also adopted a dog whose special need is that she is cranky! I am patient, gentle, and can gauge my audience - if your furbaby likes cuddles and kisses, that's what they'll get...and if not, I'm good with giving space too. It's all about them! Multiple dogs welcome - cats, birds, bunnies...I'll love just about any pet. Disclaimer: I draw the line at spiders and snakes. I am available evenings and weekends only at this time. I look forward to meeting you and your furry one(s)!

Lisa has cared for my dog, Peanut, a number of times. Peanut loves to visit Lisa and Lisa's pups. It's the only time my dog hasn't barked around other dogs! While away, I've gotten pictures and updates to let me know how Peanut is doing. I love it! It's a huge comfort and relief to know that Peanut is in good hands while we're away.
Lisa’s love of dogs began with one puppy mill rescue. Years later, she now has 3 rescues of her own! Puppy mill rescues need lots of love, care and patience - ALL of which you will find in Lisa. She is dependable, trustworthy and I would highly recommend her to care for your pets.
Lisa is not only a dog lover, but a dog protector. She fights for the rights of companion animals and rescues puppy mill mom dogs. She is the epitome of compassion and love toward animals. Any animal in Lisa's company and care is treated with love and respect.
Lisa has actually adopted from the non profit I have founded and I can't tell you how lucky that pup was that she found us! Lola was an older shihtzu who has/had trust issues and not everyones favorite type of dog to take in. She needed a home that was going to give her all the time and patience she could possibly ask for. A local groomer and supporter saw Lola and immediately went to Lisa about her and it was love at first sight. Lisa is so patient and kind and has the most amazing sense of humor. Her and her husband are so caring and responsible for their animals and work diligently in the community to fight against puppy mills and they love to work and support with animal rescues. You could not ask for anyone more loyal and caring for your animals! Sara
