Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Lisa S. and I have been working with animals and their parents for the last 17 years. Seven years at the Austin Humane Society as the Operations Director and PR Manager, 6 years for the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) working all over the country helping shelter dogs and cats and 4 years as (volunteer) lead adoption/foster coordinator for Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas. I am taking a break from full time work (working for the 'man') and I would love to supplement my new free-time with positive experiences with animals. I'm very active and physically strong and love to walk! I am fit for all sizes of dogs and know how to use all the collar and leash contraptions. My past jobs had me working long hours and I know the value of a dog walker or even just someone to check to make sure they are doing okay or to feed them if you can't make it home on time. I'm reliable and have a great sense of humor (does everyone say that?) and I would be so grateful to work for you!

I mean, she traveled the country assessing animal shelters and behavior programs for the ASPCA. She knows her shit. Plus she is supremely kind and personable. Book her while you can!
I have known Lisa for more than 20 years and she always been animal lover and responsible pet owner. She has worked for local and national animal agencies throughout most of her career. When we take walks around town lake she stops to talk to all the animals. Anyone would be lucky to hire Lisa look after their pet for them!
Ms. S. is a gifted dog handler. She has engaged with our older dog with some aches and pains on a regular basis. Ms. S. is gentle, patient and reliable. I recommend her highly.
