EDIT: I've just adopted a new dog! We're still getting to know each other so I'm not taking boarding clients right now until I get to know him a bit better. As of this week, I'm sorry, but I'm not taking new clients at this time. If you've booked with me before, please feel free to reach out and I will do my best to accommodate you, but most of my available time is pretty booked. Thank you for your consideration, and please feel free to check back... I'll update if things change! Nothing brings greater joy than the companionship of a dog. I've been around dogs for my whole life, sometimes a lot of them. I've seen them through all life stages, injuries, illnesses, and I have an enormous capacity for love and care for our furry friends. I lost my 15-year-old boi in February, and I'm not ready for a new dog yet, but I would love the opportunity to walk and spend time with your dogs. During the pandemic, I'm being strict about best practices. I'm high risk, so I am not meeting people inside of their houses or mine any longer. I'm happy to meet in person, outside and masked, and then anything else we need to communicate can be done through photos. I'm being tested regularly, and will wear a mask inside your house for drop-in visits and dog walks. I'll also be sure to sanitize on my way out if I stay in your house. If you are not following Covid guidelines, please choose someone else. Thanks!

Lisa is phenomenal! She really put me at ease taking in My fur baby Sassy. Lisa took the time to truly understand Sassy and treat her like her own, words can not explain the praise Lisa deserves!
Lisa goes above and beyond anything we could have expected. We have 3 dogs and Lisa has been walking them twice a week for about a month now. She does a great job with our puppy, giving her lots of positive reinforcement, sending us updates on her progress, and putting up with our constant changes to the routine. She’s also great with our senior guy. But where she really went the extra mile is with our grumpy, emotional, sassy chihuahua/jack russell mix. She spent the first few visits just sitting across the room from her, tossing her treats and going her pace. She was incredibly patient and after a few visits, Seneca now adores her. We are so grateful to have someone to take care of our dogs who we can trust everyday. It gives us such peace of mind! We plan to book Lisa for all future dog walking and dog sitting.
We’ve left our dog with Lisa multiple times now. She’s been a well taken care of, happy puppy while she’s been there.

I live in an apartment, but there are a lot of lovely areas for walking nearby, and am able to travel for house sitting. I have two cats who have been around dogs for their entire lives, and the ability to distance them from your dog if the need may be. I also have a bunch of finches, but they are also able to be secured from over-curious bird dogs.
