30 years of Pet Sitting Experience!
Pet care experience
I have taken care of pets since I was 10 years old. It started of as me watching cats for my neighbor, then ballooned into sitting for friends’ and family’s dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, chickens, and turkeys! I currently have 4 rescue mutts of my own, so I’m great with handling multiple dogs at once. I also have two human kids, ages 13 and 9, and a wonderful husband who help me run the chaos at my house :) I have experience with young pups who are still training to seniors who just need some quiet time and snuggles. I also have experience with medication administration (injectable, oral, or topical). I am skilled in the care of reactive dogs and dogs with bite histories. It takes a lot to scare me off!! Big or small, I’ll watch them all!
Reviews
Lisa is super reliable and responds very promptly to any requests. She also takes phenomenal pictures and is great with my dog, she gives him tons of love!
Lisa is an animal lover. She is very quick to respond and very prompt with her time. She has been great with my German shepherd who doesn't take to just anyone! I would highly recommend her services as I will be using her again.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pets’ safety is always my number one concern. Because two of my dogs are dog/stranger reactive, all care must be done in your home/neighborhood. I feel this is also beneficial to pets because they will be in their own familiar environment. I will always ask for a meet and greet prior to taking on a job because I want to make sure that I’m a great fit for you and your pets. I like to gather information about your pet, get a feel for their schedule, and also set expectations so everyone is on the same page. I will try to maintain your pets’ schedules as closely as possible to help keep the stress at bay. I will also be respectful of your property and your neighborhood. I will leave everything just as I have found it. If hired for drop ins, I can also get mail, water plants, feed fish, take out trash, etc. if needed. Just ask! I know how hard it is to find someone that is trustworthy enough to take care of your beloved pets, but you don’t have to look any further. I’m your lady!
Information Lisa S. would like to know about your pet
I like to know your dog’s normal schedule in regards to eating, walking, peeing/pooping. I also like to know about any quirks or special needs that could upset or scare your dog (my one female hates when people wear baseball caps). I also like to know any specific triggers for when we are out on a walk (reactive to dogs, doesn’t like motorcycles or fireworks, can slip out of collar/harness, etc). Also, any information you want to offer up that will help me take the best care of your pet! I am able to do meds and spend extra time with senior pups or young puppies if needed. Just ask!
A typical day
A typical 30 min walk will include a jaunt around your neighborhood and stops at special spots your pup enjoys. I know walks are generally used for pets to relieve themselves but I also like to let them sniff around and let them lead me some of the way. I make sure the walk is mentally stimulating and hopefully will leave your pup tired until you get home! For drop ins, I will typically stay 30 min (unless a different time is agreed upon.) During that time, I will do a 10-15 min walk, same as above, then I will spend the rest of the time playing or doing other things that your dog enjoys (snuggles, puzzles, tug of war, hide and seek…) I will make sure your pup feels loved and happy until you return!

Availability
I’m currently a registered nurse working part time so I do have a good amount of availability during the week with lots of varying times. I also have time available on weekends and some holidays. Please see my schedule or send a message to inquire if I am available for whatever service you may be looking for! I don’t have all availability posted, so just reach out if you think I’d be a good fit!
