Loving your dog as much as you do.

Pet care experience

WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS Free play type doggy daycare and sleepovers. I received PSI's Certificate in Professional Pet Sitting in 2014 and have years of experience living with and handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I've worked with dogs with special needs from sensitive stomachs and thunder-babies to epilepsy, arthritis, cancer and hip dysplasia. Our mud-free outdoor play area reduces how dirty your dog gets while in our care as well as helping to prevent fleas, ticks and other parasites. We do not accept ANY dogs unless they have been spayed/neutered. Due to our insurance requirements, NO EXCEPTIONS MAY BE MADE. We love our jobs and this business. We look forward to taking care of your dogs as if they are our own. Thank you for your understanding of our rules and best practices.

Our boy was in great hands at Dog Vacay! We were even sent photos of him playing so we were even more at ease. Lisa really goes over every detail before your dog's stay which was exactly what we were looking for. Dog Vacay is very professional and we will be taking our boy back in just a few short weeks for our annual vacation and know that he will have fun and we can relax more just knowing that.

So so wonderful! Sent us regular pictures and updates. I know my dog had a wonderful time! (She passed out for like 8 hours after we got her home!) Lisa was amazing every step of the process. We will definitely be booking her for our next vacation!

Lisa is amazing! She has watched Shiner several times and he always comes home happy but exhausted. I know he is always in good hands when he goes to see Lisa. I wish I could get her to move to Texas :-)

We do not accept ANY dogs unless they have been spayed/neutered. Due to our insurance requirements, NO EXCEPTIONS MAY BE MADE. Please note that in addition to this being our home this is also a business that I take very seriously. You will be asked to come for a meet and greet prior to our accepting any new dogs. You will complete new client paperwork, bring your dog's vaccination records (we require rabies, bordetella, and the distemper multi vaccination called DHPP, DAPP, etc.), and stay with us for 10-15 minutes at your first visit while we review. If any of the requirements are not met, we will be unable to check your dog in - please ask any questions in advance so that we can avoid this as we understand it causes inconvenience to you. Not all dogs enjoy or are suited for socialized boarding and for the safety of our guests and staff, you may be asked to have your dog picked up or we may need to keep him/her separated from the rest of the pack which may include being crated for the majority of their stay. Additionally, we ask that you notify us 5-10 minutes before your arrival for meet & greets, drop offs, and pick ups so that we may safely secure all dogs here. If your pup(s) are under 6 months of age, over 7 years of age, have had surgery in the last 12 months or have been in a vet's care for any illness or disease in the last 6 months, your vet will need to complete a form for us as well. We love our jobs and this business. We look forward to taking care of your dogs as if they are our own. Thank you for your understanding of our rules and best practices.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks We live in a neighborhood with lots of areas for walks. We go on walks 2xs per day - more when weather & time allow. Your dog's sleeping arrangement There is a gated area of my home with lots of doggy beds. In the event any dogs aren't playing well with others, we do have another room set up for any dogs that we need to separate. Time I'll spend with your dog This is my full time job. I am with the dogs almost 100% of the time.
