I was helping to care for them since I was old enough to walk! I have always had a dog by my side since I was old enough to live alone. I also worked at a vets office as a receptionist for a year. I currently have a 9 year old terrier mix I adopted, a 2 year old beagle mix we found in the woods, and I currently help care for my boyfriends bearded dragon. I follow directions thoroughly and will send detailed updates with pictures so you know your pet is in safe hands. I can administer meds, and am an expert of pets with special needs. Lisa is great. I asked her for drop-in visits for my cat Lulu over the holidays. I left her with the warning that Lu isn't the most playful cat in the world, but that didn't stop Lisa from trying. Lisa would even provide very detailed notes of her visits as well as very cute pictures, which do a lot for my mental lol. It was clear everyday that Lu was getting a lot of love and attention from Lisa, and in the end, I returned to a very happy cat. I look forward to asking Lisa for her help again in the future and I'm sure Lu looks forward to it too!

A typical day
I like to play games, give pets and keep your dog moving until they seem happy and content after sniffing all the sniffs of the neighborhood! For cats, feather toys and play tunnels are all the rage. We can end the visit with some rubs or treats!

I work nights at a nice restaurant in Durham. I always tell myself that I'm going to get outside more and go on hikes and it turns out the only way I actually take long walks is if I'm paid to 😆
