Dogs have been my best friends--my cohorts. I use a calm, nurturing, playful, and positive approach to building rapport with dogs. I believe that rapport and positive reinforcement are key! Besides being an animal lover I am a nature lover, hiker, and Certified Forest Therapy Guide, so I take people for walks too! I look forward to walking your dog in beautiful natural settings because nature is medicine for us all. I learned how to care for dogs from a shy injured homeless dog who found me while I was jogging. He moved in and taught me how his needs were different from his sister cats. He wanted to please me and they could care less. He taught me that all I had to do was pay attention and listen in order to know his needs. I use my organization and cleaning skills to keep your home spiffy while you are away and I welcome an opportunity to snap a shot of your pet and text it to you if you are missing them.
