Pet care experience
I have years of experience taking care of all types of animals. I recently spent 3 months in Australia pet/house sitting for folks I met through The House Sitters Australia website. While I was there I took care of dogs, cats, chickens, one cute little mouse, and even 24 guinea pigs! My family has had 5 cats and 3 dogs throughout the years (2 Pyrenees/Newfoundland mixes and one retriever/? mix) so I have lots of time spent snuggling, walking, and cleaning up after all of them haha. Besides my own best buddies, I've lived with friends who at one time had 4 dogs and a cat and I would take care of them all when they were away on vacation or even just at work. I've repeatedly pet sat for multiple friends and co-workers, and I also took care of my former landlord's dog on and off for months when he was traveling overseas. Some of the dogs and cats I've taken care of have required a special diet or medications so I am comfortable administering medicine and being extra diligent with feeding.

As a pet owner who is way too attached to her dog, I enthusiastically recommend Lisa as a conscientious and caring pet sitter. Lisa was available to work around my schedule, and on short notice. She watched our dog Elfo and stayed at our house while me and my husband were out of town for two weeks, in June 2022. Lisa Olson has been cat-sitting for me going on 4 years. It’s been such a relief going out of town knowing that their basic needs are met and that I know she goes above and beyond which includes all the pets, scratches and hugs. In fact, I had a cat that would sit on Lisa’s neck and go to sleep so Lisa takes the term cat-sitting quite literally. Anytime I needed a picture of my cats she was on it. Anytime I needed to give Lynx her steroid medicine, she was on it. If you are reading this I know you will not regret having her take care of all your animals needs. Lisa has watched my 4 dogs and a cat on several occasions throughout the years and is absolutely fabulous! My cat was ill qnd and required daily medication as well as a very specific diet. Lisa is very responsible, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond to ensure my fur babies and house were well taken care of, including indoor plants and garden. She has excellent communication and is very clean. I never have to worry about a thing while on vacation when Lisa is there! Highly recommend!

A typical day
I typically cater to to the owner and dog's normal routine and preferences. If they require minimal activity due to old age, then I will spend extra time cuddling them and just being around. If they require lots of activity then I will happily take them on walks and go to the dog park, beach, go play fetch, and they will also get tons of cuddles :)
