Loving, home-based environment.
Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 15. Over the years, we’ve provided both professional pet sitting and helped out friends and family—whether for short getaways or extended vacations. I’m a full-time stay-at-home mom and an animal lover! 🐾 My husband and I offer boarding for most dog sizes, and our home is always filled with love, play, and plenty of tail wags. We live on about 3 acres in beautiful El Dorado Hills, complete with a creek and a securely fenced portion of the yard where dogs can run freely, play fetch, splash in the water, or simply enjoy the fresh air. This setup gives your pup plenty of outdoor time in a safe and natural environment. We have two friendly, medium-sized dogs of our own—Mochi, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever, and Mila, a 2-year-old Goldendoodle. Both are fixed, gentle, and love having other dogs around. They enjoy playdates, cuddles, and are wonderful with our children (ages 17, 8, and 6). Our dogs are indoor dogs and have the run of our hardwood-floored downstairs. We use baby gates to separate carpeted areas, and there’s a designated, cozy sleeping space for your pup. Dogs are always supervised, both inside and out. We’re home full time, so your dog will get constant care, attention, and love. We’re also flexible—we understand that plans can change, and we’re happy to work with you to adjust as needed. We welcome dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. Whether your pup loves fetch, water play, or just lounging, we’re here to make sure they have a fun, safe, and loving stay. If your dog has any special needs or preferences, please let us know—we’re always happy to accommodate! Looking forward to meeting your furry family member! 🐶

Amazing! Communicative! And totally a dog person! Keanu instantly gravitated towards Lisa and her family! Her attention to detail and understanding of dogs comes from years of experience and it shows! Loved using them and will be in the future again sometime! Thank you again!

This weekend was my 1st time using Rover, and I loved the experience! Lisa was able to keep my pups on a very short notice. She was communicative, friendly, and even sent multiple updates per day (including pictures) letting me know how my pups were doing. I will definitely be booking with them again! 🩷🐾

Russ and Lisa did a fantastic job. Our pups were happy and very comfortable in their home. The treated them like part of their family. I would definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend them

Russ and Lisa house sat for me and my dog Meira. As she is quite aloof and rather indifferent to new people I was rather concerned, I was sent pics of her walks and during normal daytime activities, she seemed quite fine. My house was left near as a pin, couldn’t tell the difference from when I left, and when I returned! Thank you for taking good care of my girl and home.

We have a fully fenced yard—about a quarter acre or more—where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. Our own pups are friendly, social, and love to wrestle, chase, and relax with other dogs. Because we provide a relaxed, home-based environment, we do not accept aggressive or overly reactive dogs. We carefully assess each dog’s temperament to ensure they’re a good fit for our home, our dogs, and our young children (ages, 8, and 6). Our kids are very comfortable around dogs and have been taught how to behave respectfully and gently with animals of all sizes and temperaments. Our top priority is maintaining a safe, happy, and stress-free space for every pup who stays with us.

Information Lisa N. would like to know about your pet
Before your dog’s stay, we’ll want to know a few important things: 1. Aggression: Has your dog ever shown aggression toward other dogs, people, or especially children? Understanding their behavior helps us keep everyone safe by separating dogs if needed. 2. Escape Tendencies: Is your dog a roamer, digger, climber, or escape artist? While our property is fully fenced, some curious pups may try to explore beyond the yard. If your dog tends to climb, chew, jump fences, or dig, please let us know so we can keep an extra-close eye on them. 3. Health & Care: Please inform us about your dog’s diet, any medications, medical conditions, or allergies. We’re happy to accommodate special diets and medication schedules to ensure your dog’s health and comfort throughout their stay. Drop-off and Pick-up: Our usual drop-off time is between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. If you need to drop off earlier or pick up later, we’re flexible and will do our best to accommodate you. For significantly early or late drop-offs/pick-ups, we may ask that you book an additional day, allowing your dog to arrive the night before or depart the following day.

We have a fully fenced section of our property—about a quarter acre or more—where dogs can safely roam, run, and explore. This dedicated space allows for plenty of supervised outdoor play, including games like fetch, agility-style activities, ball chasing, and tug-of-war. In the warmer months, the dogs also enjoy cooling off with water play—they often get wet and have a blast splashing around (splash pads or kiddie pools for dogs) Our own dogs are friendly, social, and love to wrestle, chase, and relax with their pup friends—your dog will have lots of opportunities for fun and exercise in a safe, engaging environment.
