I know how particular I am about my own dog's care. Don't be afraid to (actually PLEASE DO!) leave detailed instructions. If Fido likes to walk three circles around the tree clockwise before he goes potty, that's exactly what we'll do! I also like to know how an owner likes their pet handled. Have a dog that pulls on the leash? I'd be happy to work on loose-leash walking with positive reinforcement! If you have a particular trick or treat, I appreciate keeping the method consistent for the dog while you are away.

Have an active dog? A run or close hike might be in order. Have a senior pet that doesn't get around much anymore? Perhaps he/she might enjoy a nap in the sun with a wonderful massage. Your pet will be treated like royalty. I am a pet photographer on the side, so it's likely you'll get some fun photos of your pet while you're away so you can see exactly what we've been up to!
