I have many years of experience with house, yard and farm animals. My family always had a variety of pets so I’m comfortable around most, reptiles not so much. Even as a child I had a natural connection and love for animals so right out of high school I pursued a career as a vet tech. I earned the knowledge to perform and assist with most any situation emergency’s included. A change in my life took my profession in another direction but I’ll be forever grateful for the experience I received during that eight years time. The knowledge I have will be with me forever and has come in use many times over. I currently have many pets of my own including a horse of 24 yrs, 2 dogs 16 yrs old, 4 cats 8 years and up. They’re a top priority that fill my life with happiness and love. The training I received as a vet tech allows me to care for senior, and special needs pets, such as giving meds, fluids, insulin and I’m cpr certified. Im highly aware of odd behavior,sickness,or injury. I do a health check on all pets I sit. I enjoy helping pet owners with sitting , understanding pet behavior or offering guidance to resolve or help with issues they may be having with their pet. I believe alot of pets and animals are abandoned or given up on from lack of education or resources on how to resolve a problem. My hope is to give back by helping owners with pet problems, if I help one pet and owner I’ve made a difference, it’s my way to pay it forward. My goals are building trusting relationships with pet owners to where they are certain their companion is safe, loved, happy and in the best care while their away. I want the pets to feel the same way safe, loved and happy. I promise to always treat your pets as my own with much love,compassion and respect that they deserve. It’s a rewarding feeling seeing their happy faces when u arrive and take care of them, i love my part in keeping them as happy as they can be while their family is away. I promise to follow all rules provided by the owners via treats , allowed not allowed behavior etc. I look forward to making sure owners have a positive and worry free experience while their special friends are in my care.
