Large Fenced Yard, Home full time
Pet care experience
I am a stay at home mom to four human children and one four pawed pup! Our pet is another member of our family and I will treat your pet the same! My husband and I both grew up with dogs and we have had our rescue Rio for over 6 years. We have taken obedience classes with Rio and frequented the FIDO dog park in our town when he was a puppy. We also live near a walking/biking trail that welcomes dogs and frequently walk our dog on it. Our yard is large and fenced in with lots of dog and kid toys to play with. We also allow dogs through out our house and are comfortable with them sharing our space while respecting that sometimes dogs need their own space as well. Your pup will have lots of attention in our home and be treated as one of our own for his or her stay with us. I have lots of experience with walking a variety of dogs. I am comfortable and have experience walking more than one dog at a time, and walking dogs of all sizes. I come prepared with extra poop bags, leashes, and water for your pet. I am willing to work with you on any specific commands you use while walking your dog because I believe consistency is key. Your dog's safety on our walks is my top priority closely followed by getting them some exercise and potty breaks! I have been on the Rover platform since 2018 providing boarding, daycare, drop in and walking services.
Reviews
Fantastic care yet again!
As always, Lisa was super thorough and fantastic to our pets! She even braved the snow storm to make sure our babies had plenty of food and water and love!
Russell had a great time at Lisa's house. He loved her kids and her dog and all the other friends he made. She treated him like family and I think he was sad to leave.
As always, Lisa provided top notch care to our fur babies!

We have a large fenced in yard with lots of room to run, sniff and explore. Our yard has two gates with one main gate used frequently. The entrance that your pet will use to go in and out of the house is within the fenced area. Inside we have numerous gates to section off areas as needed. We have room and experience with crating if you would like to bring a crate for your pet. When I am caring for your pet in your home I will work with you to find the best and safest way for me to enter and exit your home. I have worked with and welcome families with cameras in or around their homes as well. I act no differently when I am with your pet than when I meet you and your pet at the meet and greet.

Information Lisa M. would like to know about your pet
Your dog's temperament around children and other dogs is our top priority. With that in mind we do require a meet and greet prior to any service. What is a meet and greet?: This is a way for me to find out if I am a good fit for you and your pup. It is no cost to you and is set up prior to any stay or service on a day and time that works for you. What does a Meet and Greet for Boarding or Daycare look like?: If you need boarding or daycare services we will set up a meet and greet at my home. My dog Rio and I will meet you in our driveway, leashed, on the day of the meet and greet. This allows the dogs to meet on a more neutral territory. After exiting your car we will all take a quick walk down the dead end. This allows some of the initial excitement to wear down. If all is going well (no growling, raised hair, nipping etc.) we will move to the fenced in back yard. At this point we usually let our guest dog off leash and the sniffing begins! Generally dogs new to our yard spend the majority of the time sniffing or running because there are lots of new smells and lots of space! Lastly, I will have my children come meet your dog one or two at a time. This helps to not overwhelm your pet. My husband will also gladly meet your pet if he is available during the day and time we pick for our meet and greet. Other things we like to know about your pet: ~strong likes/dislikes of your pup? ~specific commands you use with your dog so we can be consistent? ~any dietary restrictions? ~where your dog prefers to sleep (dog bed, kennel, etc.) ? ~does your dog have any separation anxiety? ~ Is your pet up to date on vaccines and on a flea and tick preventative? What does a Meet and Greet for Walks or Drop ins look like?: This meet and greet is done where the service is taking place, in your home. This meet and greet will give your pet the chance to see me in their home with you before any service. The main purpose is to make sure your pet is comfortable with me and that I will be a good fit for your needs. We will also cover how you would like me to enter your home and any specific needs of your pet.

We have a large fenced in yard with lots of room to run! We have many dog toys to chase and play with and even have small kiddie pool for dogs that like the water during hot months! We also live near a wooded walking/biking trail that welcomes dogs.

Availability
Between dog walks, drop offs and pick ups, I am home the majority of the day as a stay at home parent. I have been doing, boarding, daycare, walks, and drop ins with Rover since 2018 and myself and my family enjoy it immensely!
