We are not currently watching dogs. *Update* Your job making you go back to the office? :( Let us take care of your pooch on the day(s) you go in. We are looking to add 2-3 new regulars to our pack. We book in 12 hour increments meaning, if you drop off at 7am, you do not have to pick up until 7 pm. This leaves some time to run an errand or two on your way home before picking up your little buddy. HELLO! We love animals and have many years of experience caring for them. That love has evolved to hosting dogs in our home in Serene Cedars neighborhood of Lynnwood. Our home is set up for dogs and our fully fenced backyard with Serene Lake just down the street. When taking care of other people's pets at our house, please know they are treated as family just like our own pets are. Our dog sitting goal is to have a small pack of regular dogs to hang out with. Our experience with Rover clients has been overwhelmingly positive and we’ve made some great pet and people friends. CONVENIENT TO FREEWAY We are located near 525/Mukilteo Speedway and Highway 99 near Serene Lake. 2 minutes from the cutoff, 5 minutes from I-5 and about 10 minutes from Paine Field airport and Boeing. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US Jeff is home FULLTIME and Lisa works from home which enables us to be with our dogs most of the time. We believe a consistent feeding and exercise schedule help keep our pets happy and healthy mentaly and physically. We feed our pets in the morning and evening and can accommodate special diets and feeding times. Another key component to a balanced dog is proper socialization with humans and other dogs and animals. The dogs that stay with us play and socialize with each other as much or as little as they like. We are watching the dogs interactions and evaluating their play and demeanor and adjusting dynamics as necessary. Dogs have lots of outdoor time in our large, fully fenced backyard. ABOUT LISA Hi, I'm Lisa 😁 I have over 40 years of experience caring for animals. My family pets have included dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and horses. My family has had Australian Shepherds, Australian Cattle dogs, Greyhounds, Labrador and Golden retrievers, Doberman Pinchers and English Mastiffs. I worked 3 summers at Forest Park Animal Farm in Everett, Washington where I took care of many different farm animals. Along with regular feeding, husbandry and care, I also administered vaccines and medications as needed. I have my Washington state license to practice massage with an endorsement for canine and equine massage and have been trained in cat and dog first aid and CPR. ABOUT JEFF Jeff here. I’ve been raising, caring for, and training animals most of my life. I grew up in Texas and New Mexico (call me a New Texican) where my first jobs were on ranches helping raise everything from horses and chickens to cats and dogs. I come from a culture where the animals had a job and were cared for as an integral part of the family. We did our own minor vet care, so I have experience with giving shots, pills and IVs. I will give your pets all the love, care and exercise they need while staying with us. ACTIVITIES While staying with our family (depending on the season) your dog will enjoy the following activities: playtime in our large, park like, fully fenced backyard: ball throwing, pool party, trampoline fun (with or without kids!), make new friends and playing with other puppers, deck sun lounging, dog bed lounging, couch lounging (ooops its allowed in our house, "grandma rules!") and kid play time. Bonus: our kids also love to have a dog sleep on their beds or on a dog bed, so if you have a dog that prefers that, we can accommodate. When taking care of other people's pets at our house, please know they are treated as family just like our own pets are. We let dogs be dogs and play in the backyard when they want. Often this means they're going to get a little dirty. Rest assured, we will give your dog a bath and comb out (no extra cost) before you arrive to take them home. EXOTIC PETS We are familiar with and can care for reptiles, birds and small animals like hedgehogs, rabbits and rodents. Please contact us for more information. ADDITIONAL DOG NOTES When staying with us please bring their food, walking harness/collar and leash. Also feel free to bring their favorite bed or blanket. We DO have: crates, bowls and a million toys.
