I grew up with a dog and now I often take care of my friend's Shiba Inu, which inspired me to join this app. I will treat your pet the way I treat her—as If they were my own. I’m a nurse and am highly reliable and professional. I'm also active and outdoorsy and will make sure your pet gets enough exercise and has fun, too. I am happy to send you photos and videos of your pet throughout the time I am with them as well. Contact me to arrange a free meet and greet and to talk more about your pet's needs.

Lisa was amazing with our two small older pups. We’re new to the area and I was very nervous to leave my babies for a weekend while we traveled but Lisa was so good with them. I’ll walk 2 to 4 times per day as requested, make sure they have food and water. I can provide baths if requested as well as trips to a dog park if they like to play. If they like to cuddle, I will sit with them while reading or watching tv if we are not out.I will treat them as if they were my own. I live in a quiet, peaceful townhome community where there is lot of grass and nature for dogs to explore. If they like longer walks, there is a great walking path across the street from my community. I am happy to go on longer walks if your pet has lots of energy. It is part of my usual routine whether I have a dog or not, so please let me know if your dog would like this!

Let me know what your keys needs are. As a nurse I can learn how to take care of them if they have special needs. I prefer you to fill these questions out before I take care of your pet for the first time: 1. How often does your dog like/need to go out on walks? For example, at least once every 8 hours during the day or 3 times per day. Let me know their usual routine. 2. Do they enjoy long walks or should I limit walks to a certain amount of time? 3. Should I leave their food out at all times or place food out at certain times (and how much)? I will keep water available all the time. 4. Do they need any medications? 5. Any other special needs? 6. Do you want me to send you photos or videos of your dog throughout the weekend? 7. What is the best way to contact you in case of an emergency? 8. Can you provide another emergency contact? 9. What is the name and phone number of their veterinarian? 10. Do I have your permission to take your pet to a veterinarian as needed (I would make every attempt to contact you beforehand doing this) 11. Do your pets have any behavior or aggressive problems? (I will not be boarding another pet with them this weekend, but I will take them on walks where they are likely to encounter other dogs. Let me know if I should let them say hello to friendly dogs or if it better to keep a distance while walking past other dogs). Do you have any questions of me?

Availability
I work full time at home Monday and Wednesday - Friday (in the office on Tuesdays), and Fridays are a half day. I can provide boarding or doggy day care when I work from home and provide walks during breaks, lunch, and before and after work. I am also available for walks or visits Monday and Wednesdays evening after 6 pm and anytime after 1:30 pm on Fridays.
