All belly-rubs and bacon-flavored treats aside, the truth is our dogs depend on us for their safety and their well-being. It is often hard for most of us to leave them at all! I believe having a dog is a joy, a commitment, a privilege, and a responsibility. When I choose a sitter for my own dog, I look for someone who has a genuine willingness to put my dog’s needs before their own. Each dog seems to me as different from one another as people are. Each one needs and deserves care, attention, patience and love. They are all welcome, and will be “one of the family” here! Living in the beautiful Ozark Mountains is a unique experience —right down to the employment opportunities. Like many folks here, I work full-time at several part-time jobs. Being away from home less hours at a time allows me to check in with your dog (and my dog) on a frequent basis. I am thrilled that caring for dogs through Rover is one of the ways I earn a living! My half-acre yard is not fenced, so my dog gets at least two walks every day. Keeps us both healthy! Requirements from this sitter: Proof of current vaccination records.
