Pet care experience
Growing up I always had amazing dogs as part of the family and was involved in animal training and rescue. I spent 10 years in my teens and twenties as a 4-H leader, focusing on small animal care, pet therapy for the elderly, and animal training with young students. I've also spent time as an adoption center volunteer, walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments. After my dog bud passed several years ago, I've spent more time caring for friends' dogs as an extension of house sitting. I know how stressful it can be for dogs to be separated from their family, so I aim to act as a source of calm support and positive energy for dogs in my care.
Reviews
Lisa helped me out when I was super busy with work and took care of my dog Lucy. I've known her for a long time and had seen her interact with and care for her family dog many times, so I had no hesitations about trusting her with my somewhat unpredictable little doggie. Lucy loved playing with Lisa and Lisa was a natural at doing all the things you need to do to keep a dog happy and safe. She is also very relaxed around animals and I think she'd be the perfect dogsitter or dogwalker. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help looking after their pet!

Information Lisa G. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog enjoy interacting with other animals/people, or are they more comfortable one-on-one? Do you have a particular walk route or play place in order to maintain a familiar routine for your dog while you're away? What are your doggy house rules (ex. allowed on furniture? the bed?) Are you working on any commands/skills that I can maintain a training routine for?
